2017 KCA COVENANT INVESTMENT OF PRAYER AND FASTING
We have the strategic mandate as God’s people to invest. Invest our money. Invest our time. Invest our gifts. Invest our love.
Investment is core covenant principle.
Ge 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime, and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Ga 6:7 – 8
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Life is all about the investments you make.
It is your investments that determine the future you have. Until seed (investment) is sown there is no harvest (future). I want you to see these sessions of Prayer & Fasting as your covenant investment into your destiny. All through scripture we see men and women paid this price of Prayer & Fasting as investments into their future as God has ordained them.
As we enter the year 2017 therefore, it is time to seek the Lord. LET US START THE YEAR ROLLING AND KEEP IT ROLLING
PRAYER IS AN INVESTMENT.
The time you dedicate to prayer isn’t lost…it will return dividends far greater than what a few moments of time somewhere else could. One very primary purpose of prayer is connecting with God to establish and perfect His will our lives.
Prayer is a vital expression of trust in the Lord that emerges from our devotion and commitment. It is our conversation with the Almighty that includes both expressing our concerns and listening to His response. The fact that Jesus had to pray (sometimes all night long), while He was ministering here on earth, is proof enough that we need to pray.
Don’t be too busy, to squeeze prayer out of your schedule.
So many Christians today have found their prayer life diminishing over time. They have become so relaxed in their prayer life. Really, they don’t pray much anymore.
Just like the offerings we give, prayer & fasting when done with passion and commitment, guarantees open reward from God the Father.
Mt 6:4, 6, 18
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Prayer is a great investment. Let us come into the presence of God and through prayer integrate our lives with His will as the year 2017 commences.
Prayer does make a difference. It is a great spiritual investment that invites God into the affairs of our lives and ushers us into God’s will all through the year.
Some of us may be disillusioned because we prayed for a thing or a certain situation and it didn’t work out as we prayed. So, we gave up on prayer because as it were it didn’t work. It’s time to shake off that feeling and re-position ourselves on the altar of prayer.
The Lord Jesus spoke on the power of importunity in Luke 18: 6 – 8
“And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? “
The Lord Jesus means to say, “Don’t loose heart in praying. Keep on praying.” “Men ought always to pray and not Faint”
Some things may be hard to understand this side of heaven. But the Lord Jesus is saying to weak and weary in prayers, “Keep on praying. Don’t faint’.
As a congregation, we must keep moving forward…we cannot afford to have prayer fade away from amongst us. We must be a praying people, praying from the heart for God to reveal Himself amongst us. Let all of us be investors in the greatest investment of all time -” PRAYER”.
Every advancement in life and ministry places specific demands on man to be fulfilled.
1 Cor.15: 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

There is no substitute for the labor of Prayer & Fasting in our quest for fulfillment in life and ministry. For this, we have to engage the prayer altar in our crave for our 7 fold Restoration experience.
It is in the light of all of the above that the Covenant Investment of Prayer and Fasting is being introduced to us as we step into 2017.
I believe that this Covenant Investment of Prayer and Fasting shall surely usher this ministry into higher realms of abundance drafting multitudes into this church through the wonders of answered prayers.
The Word came to me in this fashion
“The time of your birth is here, it is time to travail for the birth. And as such you’ve gone through the pains and travails of pregnancy. The enemy had tried much to abort and cause a miscarriage of this vision but he has failed. You have been in the pregnancy phase of this ministry. Now it is time to be delivered and recover and take your rightful place”.
Isaiah 37: 3 – 4
And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.
Isaiah 66: 7 – 8, 9, 10 – 11, 12, 13, 14
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
As soon as she travail: We have this assurance that as soon as we travail, the delivery will come. So come travail with me and we shall be delivered together.
“Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.” This time there is no holding back; there is the promise of strength for delivery.
“Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory”.

“For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees”.
Your true kingdom identity of power honor and glory shall be revealed through this ministry this year
“As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
This year is a year of divine comfort for us. And God, our God will show His hand upon His servant and His indignation toward his enemies.
“And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.”
Zac. 8: 20 – 21
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; it shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: AND THE INHABITANTS OF ONE CITY SHALL GO TO ANOTHER, SAYING, LET US GO SPEEDILY TO PRAY BEFORE THE LORD, AND TO SEEK THE LORD OF HOSTS: I WILL GO ALSO.
As a result of this investment of prayer and fasting, unheard of dimensions of Restoration shall become the portion of every KCA member all through the year 2017.
The ultimate of this prayer movement is to stir a sustainable spiritual awakening and revival in our church, resulting in a wave of un-imaginable Restorations.
Therefore, in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, Covenant Investment of Prayer & Fasting is hereby declared for the advancement of both this ministry and every individual member of Kingdom Citizens Assembly beginning from Monday, 2nd of January all through the month of January 2017.
