Light Your Candle! Let It Burn!
God wants to light your candle and enlighten your darkness.
As God lights your candle, you will be in the right place at the right time and know the right thing to do.
When your candle is burning, God will lead you by your spirit.
Remember: The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
God’s Word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path.
The Source of Knowledge
The natural man doesn’t know all about you, but God’s Spirit and your regenerated spirit do.
The light is turned on in your spirit.
When the human spirit and God’s Spirit come into unity, we are in contact with the Source of all knowledge.
God is saying: Gird yourself with the Word and let your lights burn.
When you are girded with the Word, your candle burns bright.
The Word is the fuel supply for the light.
What manner of man are you?
God’s ethnic division of the human race: Jew, Gentile, Church of God.
The Jew is ever a Jew.
Gentile means the heathen world: Everyone outside of Christ who is not a Jew is a Gentile.
The Church, the body of Christ, the new creation stands utterly alone.
Also, we have the natural man, the carnal man, and the spiritual man.
The natural man is one who has never yet passed out of death into life: He is not born-again.
He’s never been recreated: He’s not a new creature in Christ Jesus.
The carnal man is a new creature: He has been born-again.
But not developed that much beyond the childhood state of the new creation.
He is governed by his body; his physical senses, rather than his spirit.
The spiritual man is one who is developed in spiritual things.
His spirit has gained the ascendancy over his physical and intellectual sense processes.
God governs him through the Word.
The natural man
You don’t understand the things of God and spiritual things with your mind.
You discern or understand them, with your spirit.
The natural man has Satan as his or her god and father whether he or she agrees with it or not.
They are in the kingdom of darkness ruled by Satan.
The natural man is motivated by the flesh.
The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God for he cannot know them.
Sense knowledge is all that the natural man possesses.
But we that are born-again can have a knowledge that is above the senses.
This knowledge is revealed to us in the Word by the Holy Spirit – Revelation – It’s above the natural.
There is a great difference between sense knowledge and revelation knowledge.
The natural man cannot understand “the things of the Spirit of God: They are foolishness to him.
The Bible is of the Spirit of God.
It is not of natural human knowledge.
Holy men wrote as they were moved by the Spirit of God.
You cannot reason it out, it is to be revealed and received.
Can you reason out God? No!
Can you reason out with your brain Jesus, the Son of God? No!
Can you reason out the virgin birth? No!
Can you reason out the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? No!
Can you reason out divine healing? No!
Can you reason out the supernatural? No!
To the natural man, they don’t make sense.
The natural man cannot understand the Bible because it is of the Spirit of God.
It is in a realm he doesn’t know anything about.
You must be Born Again
You must be born again; your heart must be changed.
God gave us the Holy Spirit to work inside of us for us.
Your spirit is the candle of the Lord, so you can have the light of life!
If you are not living for God, with the Word in your heart, your candle will not shine.
God will enlighten your darkness if you will commit your life to Him.
You must be born again and become a new creature in Christ.
If you have not committed your life to Christ, do it today.
For in Him is the life, and it is the light, the true light, that lighteth every man.
