God’s Will Is the Holy Spirit
You began the journey of salvation with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit, through the Word, made the truth that Jesus was raised from the dead real in your heart to believe.
Jesus could not get a man born again while He was on the earth.
He had the power to forgive sins, but there could be no new creatures until He died and rose from the death.
The miraculous work of the Holy Spirit made you and me new creatures.
When you made Jesus Lord over your life, the Holy Spirit came into you and settled in your spirit making you a child of God
The Spirit Within
The Spirit within enables you, to walk in newness of life.
The Spirit that gives us life lives in us to sustain that life.
The Spirit within is for fruit-bearing—for your own personal life.
The Spirit upon
The same power that was upon Jesus came upon the Church on the Day of Pentecost.
The Holy Spirit is still assigned to the Church to help us fulfill our commission today.
When you receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, you receive the ability of God to do His work in the earth.
The Spirit upon is for service, to be witnesses.
Under the New Covenant, every child of God has the Spirit of God.
If you are born again, the Spirit of God is in your spirit.
There is being born of the Spirit and there is being filled with the Spirit.
Being born-again you can be filled with the same Spirit that you already have in you.
When filled with the Spirit, there will be an overflowing.
You will speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives you utterance
The new birth is a well of water in you, springing up into everlasting life.
The infilling of the Holy Spirit is Rivers of Living water.
The well is for your own life and the rivers flowing out of you are for others.
Encouraging Steps To Receive the Holy Spirit
1, God gives the Holy Spirit as a gift of on the Day of Pentecost.
Being a gift, therefore, it is up to you to receive the gift.
It ceases to be a gift if you have to work for it.
2, anyone who is saved is ready to receive the Holy Spirit.
And if you’re saved, you are ready to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
You don’t have to do anything but ask to receive.
3, expect to receive the Holy Spirit when hands are laid on you or you asked for it.
My prayers will bring God’s power on you, but you must receive on your own by faith.
4, expect to speak in tongues; it is you that speaks it!
The Holy Spirit gives the utterance, but man does the speaking.
The Holy Spirit does not speak in tongues.
The Holy Spirit does not take our tongues and talk.
We do the speaking in tongues.
5, disregard all fears that you might receive a counterfeit.
There is no substitute for the Holy Spirit:
6, You must open your mouth wide and speak whatever is coming to you: This can be an act of faith.
The supernatural part is what is being said; it is not who is talking.
Lift up your voice and trust God for guidance.
Today you’re getting fully drunk of the Holy Spirit.
Praying in tongues edifies you.
It helps your spirit to be strong and keep rule over your life.
When you pray in tongues, you are praying in the spirit.
Spiritual blessings are received by faith—not by sight or by feeling.
This Great One will lead you into all the truth.
He will lead: You be quick to follow.
He will not only tell you what to do but will also help you to do it.
The Spirit that created the universe now dwells in you: He will empower you
Allow your mind to grasp what your spirit is telling you.
This Great One lives in you!
