This is your Personal Journey to God’s Blessing. This month of August you’re in the
process of changing your life; this prayer and fasting time will change your life. This
month we are going to adopt the prayer of Jabez as our prayer guide.

How to Use This Guide
This Prayer Guide is simple in format. This allows you to pray not just only for yourself but also for the church KCA

1. Don’t take shortcuts.
The real strength of this guide lies in what you glean and pray related to the Scriptures. Read all of the scripture suggested for each day.

2. Turn the Scriptures into prayer.
Suggestions on what to pray are provided each day. So turn some of the thoughts from the Word you read into your prayers.

3. Stay the course.
Pray through the entire month with the guide, if you miss some days, pick it up where you left off. The whole of this guide will provide a real cross-section of important issues on which to seek God.

4. Pray this for more than yourself.
This guide is designed to be used by you and the church. But you can also pray these blessings for your family, and friends.

As you pray this day
1. As you pray this day, do all to acknowledging God for who He is!
2. As you pray this day, do it with a heart fully invested in the blessings of God.
3. As you pray this day, ask God to multiply your effect for the preaching of the gospel and to do more through you!
4. As you pray this day, pray that God’s hand would lead you through any circumstance and trial that come your way.
5. As you pray this day, come to God expectant and ready for Him to turn your weakness into a strength.

Knowing God is the foundation but you must move on to knowing His will also.
There is knowing Him and there is knowing His will. If you are to have a supernatural move of God in your life, you first must get acquainted with God. We must know and understand God for who He is to us.

Scripture: Job 22:21 – 23, Colossians 1:1 – 12, Dan. 4: 34 – 35

Prayer: “Lord I desire that I might be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.”
Also, pray this for every member of the church KCA.

We always need supernatural strength to face the situations of life head-on. God is waiting and wants to offer us strength in time of need. Do not be afraid to pray and ask God for His strength to you in your spirit man

Scripture: Ephesians 3:16 – 19

Prayer: Lord I pray you would grant me, according to the riches of your glory, to be strengthened with might by your Spirit in the inner man;
Lord, I pray that Christ may dwell in my heart by faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of God.

The primary principle of intercession is simply to tell God what He tells us to tell Him as the means of releasing His power into our lives, and His church. Intercession is God’s brilliant strategy for including us His saints in ruling with Him in power. This is to give expression in intercessory prayers to all those unexplained burdens on your heart. To pray for God’s people and unnamed others, for your community or the world at large. The Bible is filled with examples of men and women who lifted up others in prayer. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for every member of the church.

Scripture: Ephesians 6:18 – 19

Prayer: Ask the Holy Spirit to reach out to His people, particularly every member of KCA in the issues of their lives and give them that much-needed breakthrough. For the church, KCA as the Holy Spirit will lead you to pray.

Your salvation will hold no value without the revelation of the word of God, which is the truth. Until you tap into the word of salvation your salvation is likely going to lose credibility. Because it will get to a point where you begin to doubt the faithfulness of God when things are not happening the way it should. It may even get to points where you start doubting the reality of God without saying it.

Scripture: Ephesians 1:17 – 20

Prayer: Lord I pray that the eyes of my understanding be enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of your calling, and what the riches of the glory of your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of your power to us–ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which you wrought in Christ, when you raised him from the dead and set him at your own right hand in the heavenly places.

We are called to a life of service. As Christians, our function is to give flavour to the earth for God to enjoy. Our presence makes the earth acceptable to God. Our presence commands the earth to God’s mercy. Without us, there would be nothing to make the earth acceptable to God. Thus, our position on earth is that of ambassadors representing heaven’s government. So let me ask you this; whose interest are you representing here on earth?

Scripture: 2Thess. 1:11 – 12, Matthew 5:13 – 14

Prayer: LORD I pray, that you would count me worthy of your calling and that I fulfil all the good pleasure of your goodness and the work of faith with power: that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in me, and me in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The concept of rest is that of no work nor struggles. Rest means a cessation from toil; and freedom from care, anxiety, and labour. The word rest which literally signifies peace, evidently means, in this place, prosperity. When you are not in your inheritance you are not at rest.

Scripture: Ex 33:14, Lev. 25: 1 – 5, 1 Kg. 5:4, Matt. 11:28 – 29, Acts 9:31

Prayer: Lord give us rest from all our troubles and release of our debts

SUNDAY 19 PRAYER FOCUS: Pray for God to enlarge our coast as a church
Bless me indeed and enlarge my coast. Let your hand be with me and keep me from evil in the name of Jesus (1 Chron. 4:10) Cast out our enemies and enlarge our borders in the name of Jesus Exodus 34:24 Pray for Enlargement and Increase, breaking off any limitations and restrictions placed on us by any evil spirits in the name of Jesus.
