GOD’S ORDER FOR RESTORATION II (April 28, 2019)

Restoration with God is a process.

It’s a journey, so be ready to walk with God.

God is saying to you

“Come walk with me and I will fill you up again”

Today God is moving you forward.

Remember the parable of Genesis Chapter 1?

It is that of Perfect Restoration

Today God will perfect that which concerns you

God has you in mind; there is a reason why you’re hearing this at this time.

Understanding the way to restoration

Restoration is not just what God brings

It is what you desired first.

You have to strongly desire it and be ready to whatever is demanded.

Ex 3:7 – 8

“And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites”.

God sees;

God knows;

But God must hear from you to be committed.

Jud 3:9, 15

“And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother”.

“But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab”.

Many of us what change but could not strongly cry to the Lord for it.

Most are just wishing that somehow things will change

Or somehow God will just do it

No, it doesn’t work that way.

See it again;

Ps. 39:12 – 13

“Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more”.

Ps. 40:1 – 4

“I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies”.

Divine Restoration entails not only bringing out but also setting up and giving motion to continue

He brought me up also out = deliverance

Set my feet upon a rock = establishment

Established my goings = empowerment for progress

Put a new song in my mouth = enjoyment and fulfillment

What does it take to encounter divine restoration? Ps. 39:12 – 13 Hear my prayer, O LORD,

Give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears.

O spare me, that I may recover strength,

Isa 38:14

“Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me”.

Amplified version says

“I am oppressed; take my side and be my security”

Today God will take your side.

Today will be your security.

O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

So wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

What does it mean to undertake?

Make pledge to do something:

Set about doing

Take responsibility for and begin doing something:

It is not how long but when you are ready to engage God to take over for you.

The force of prayer in engaging God to fight your fight.

There is where to be to enjoy the forces of restoration

It is not where you think but where God ordains

Restoration time is “remembrance time”; this time God will remember you

Jud 16:28

“And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes”.

1Sa 1:11, 19

“And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head”.

“And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her”.

It’s time God remembered you too.

Today God will remember you.

Ps 106:4 – 5

“Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation; That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance”.

As God remembers you;

Today you will see the good of His chosen,

Today you will rejoice in the gladness of His nation,

Today you will glory with His inheritance.

Ge 30:22

“And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb”.

When God remembers you, He opens up your destiny.

Today God will remember you and open up your destiny.

Today whatever has been closed against you shall be opened today.

Today every form of shame will be terminated in your life.

Today every closed destiny is decreed open.

Today God is bringing out your dignity by His power.

Your dignity is being restored today.

Today is your day of recovery for you.

Jesus is Lord
