- O lord, help this church and let not any evil imagination and manipulation of the wicked prevail against us
2 Chron 14:11 And Asa cried unto the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.
Ps60:11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. 12 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
2. Lord by your marvelous help, establish this church, strengthen it and spread its name abroad in this city for good.
2Chro 26:13 And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones.15 And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.
3. Let us ask God to help us in directing the people that belong to this church in this land to us.
Ac 18:10 For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
1Jo 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
1Th 3:11 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.
4. Lord, send helpers of ministry for our Pastor concerning the work of this church.
1Ch 12:1 Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.
Ro 16:9 Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.
5. Lord, uphold this church by your right hand and send us amazing help that will cause exponential growth and increase on all sides.
Heb 2:16 For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham.
Isa 41: 13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. 14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
6. Father, cleanse and wash me of the spirit of envy, strife and bitterness in my life so I can begin to operate and walk in your wisdom
Ps 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Ja 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
7. Father, grant me supernatural wisdom to be a wise master builder of my home and family.
Pro. 24:3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: 4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. 5 A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
8. What is that one thing you desire the wisdom of God for, ask him for it.
Dan 2:17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions: 18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
Ja 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
