UNDERSTANDING GOD’S CYCLE OF BLESSING 2

What is Blessing?

Deut 8:18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. KJV

Most of the time, we are not hearing what exactly this verse is saying.
He gives you the POWER to get wealth: Not wealth in itself.
There is the power to get.
That power that gives it is called the blessing.

Prov. 10:22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

It is the blessing of God that makes great. The Blessing of God is divine enabling power

Gen 28:4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham. KJV

Give thee the blessing of Abraham, that thou mayest inherit. The blessing of Abraham means the dimension of power at work in Abraham’s life. It is His blessing that makes you inherit what you are not qualified for. It gives to you what you may not be due for naturally.
We are the seed of Abraham and are therefore recipients of the promises God made to Abraham and his descendants.

Ga 3:26 29 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. nd if ye be Christ’s then are ye braham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.

We are the heirs of promise, its time you are empowered.
THE BLESSING is the act of declaring, God’s favor and goodness upon others or things. God’s blessing is accompanied with that virtue that renders it effectual as expressed.

Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Why does God bless?
God blesses to be a blessing.

2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

He makes all grace abound towards you with all sufficiency so that you may abound in every good work.
Not only for your consumption but also for every good work. God’s blessing is a responsibility. Blessed to abound in every good work. You are blessed to be a blessing not a consumer. If the cycle of blessing must continue in your life, then you commit it to good works.
You can’t have a heart for God and not have a heart for God’s house. You can’t have a heart for God and not have a heart for God’s creation. When you are tired of being a blessing the blessing stops. Your capacity to discharge is what determines what is allocated to you.
Order of Release
1. His Kingdom and its offices
2. The needy around
3. Blessed to impart the world.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God Matt.6:33 Only kingdom minded people are entitled to flow in His blessing.

Prov 28:27 He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.

1 Tim 6:17 19 17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

God owns everything and God gives abundantly. We are not to keep God’s resources; we are to circulate these resources. God’s blessings are then recycled to create more blessings.
Now let us see the cycle of blessing in action
2 Chron. 31:9 – 10 9 Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps. 10 And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.
Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people;

You have to make the first move.
You’re holding the seeds of your own future in your hand right now.
Step out in faith and use them to put the supernatural cycle of blessing in motion.
Start now planting one good seed after another.
Eventually you’ll enjoy a good harvest every single day!
Jesus is Lord.
