MAKING YOUR MOVE WITH GOD SUMMARY

Give and it shall be given to you Knock and the door shall be opened to you Seek and you shall find That is to say “Over to you” You always have to make the first move”. In essence you move God to move

De 32:21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

They have moved Me, and I will move So what kind of moves are you making?

Luke 7:44 – 48 44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. 45 Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. 46 My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. 47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. 48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Pretty much what He was saying is “You gave me nothing, you did nothing for me” You didn’t make any move for me to move on your behalf. She gave to me her gifts, therefore Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; She loved much: She made the move.
Kingdom Protocols

We are in a kingdom people. In a kingdom certain protocols must be observed with regards to the King First you don’t appear before a king empty. If you want to get something from a king, give him something He cannot give back to you what you gave him but bigger and better because he is a king.
Giving places a demand on the wealth of the king to give back to you. Giving requires a respond from the king. Giving to a king attracts his wealth to the giver
The problem in today’s church is that the bible is so misunderstood. We have turned giving to like a lottery. Giving to get: That is not the culture of the kingdom. You don’t give to a king so that you can get, no You give to a king because you highly esteem and honor him. And in return he bestows honor on you.
The wise men from the east;

Matt. 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

They were not giving to Him so they can get back. What do you expect to get back from an infant? No, it was not to get back but to honor Him

Phinehas

Num. 25:10 – 13 10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. 12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: 13 And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

What did he do? He made a move that changed everything for him. Everybody was waiting and watching. He was zealous for his God and moved in averting evil from the land. As he did, God moved for him and gave him the covenant of peace: Even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood

Rahab

Jos 6:25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father’s household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho

Justified by what she did

Jas 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

That move preserved not only her life but positioned her in history.

The Shunammite.

2Ki 4:13 And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

Note that this woman did not “give to get”; no, it was just done in the service of her God. But then in the eyes of God she had made a move.

14 And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old

What then is to be done for her? Because God MUST respond to her move. She made a move that moved God, Something must be done for her
Stop watching your life go by; Start making moves that will move God for you.

Job 36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

It’s a big “IF”

Ex 4:22 – 23 22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: 23 And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn

Let my son go, that he may serve me:
Service is essentially the move you make. Serving Him in every way. Not just service but serving with joy and gladness

Hag 1:2 – 10 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the LORD’s house should be built. 3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying, 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste? 5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. 7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

Make your move

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

You withdraw from the building of His House; He withdraws from your house. When He withdraws from your house trouble enters.

Kingdom project is a covenant opportunity for your supernatural prosperity. – Bishop David Oyedepo

Kingdom stewardship is not a calling or a gift, it is a choice. Its your move
It is this way Your service secure you with Him Your tithe opens the heavens Your financial stewardship keeps the heaven open. The sacrifices keep the showers flowing.

Gen 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

There is one thing you do that turns around everything.

In closing

Genesis 27:1 – 4
1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I. 2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death: 3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; 4 And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

You bring it to me and provoke me to bless
You do it for me and by it provoke me to bless
You serve me and by it provoke me to bless.
This is your year of blessing.
