God’s Requirements Have Not Changed

God's Requirements Have not Changed

What I am sent to deliver to you today is a hard saying
It is to prove your maturity or otherwise.
It is moving on unto perfection; it’s time to move o
The world is not standing still, its still turning on its pillars.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season;

Unchanging God
Well if God cannot change and has not changed,
Then it also means His requirement cannot and has not changed.
In our dealings and walk with God
Whether in season or out of season,
God’s requirement of us do not change.
God’s requirements for us His saints have not changed
The events of men cannot change His requirements.

God said to me to tell you
“The quarantine has not suspended scripture neither can suspend it”

The requirements for His blessings have not changed
The requirement of service is still in force
The demands for His protection have not changed.
Above it all the demand of faith is still the same.
You must accept responsibility to be distinguished in life

De 10:12 – 13
12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I
command thee this day for thy good?

  1. To fear the LORD thy God,
  2. To walk in all his ways,
  3. To love him,
  4. To serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul
  5. To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes.

All these can be summarized in one-word dedication.
The ultimate requirement of dedication is still in force

What is dedication?
To be devoted to a course in life – devotion.
Dedication means responding to the demands of your calling when it is convenient and when it is not convenient.
The only way to be distinguished by God in this kingdom is to be personally devoted to Him in season and out of season.

Matt 16:24 – 25
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

The consciousness of self is the destroyer of destiny
Convenience or excuse is the burial place of destiny

Est. 4:10 – 11
10 Again Esther spake unto Hatach, and gave him commandment unto Mordecai; 11 All the king’s servants, and the people of the king’s provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his
to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.

Remember Esther
She was giving excuses for none performance.
Excuses that looks genuine and credible but!

Hear Mordechai’s response

14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

God is calling, will you answer?
There is a call from the throne of grace to the children of men today.
Excuses for not performing your kingdom duties do not hold no matter the circumstances.
The kingdom is calling will you respond?
Dedication is the only way to distinction

The situation at hand is a distraction
Consistently fighting distractions to accomplish purpose.
The greatest victory of life is the victory over distraction
What is going on in the world today is a distraction.
Distraction is a destroyer of destiny.

Hear Esther afterwards

16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Did she perish? No
The link to your destiny is calling, will you answer?
The demand of preaching the gospel to reap wages has not changed the situation notwithstanding.

The Lord Jesus said of the widow of Zarephath?

Luke 4:25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; 26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that
was a widow.

There was great famine in the land.
There were many widows who needed help in town.
They were all God’s people too, but none of them was qualified for this blessing. Even the woman herself still had to give what was left of her to connect with her blessing.
Her excuse would not hold.
No situation on earth can suspend the demands of scripture.
Heavenly demands must be met for earthly returns.

De 10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Keeping His requirements is for your good.
It is still for those who love God.
Keep on proving that love in season and out of season.
Even now are you still proving your love of Him?
Or your love for Him is under quarantine; is shut down too.
Your excuses of not being able to do it don’t count before God.
God is still evermore controlling all things for the good of his children who continually
demonstrates their love for Him.
Where are the proves of your fear and love for Him?

Hence the Apostle says,

James 1:2 – 3
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Your faith is on trial
This is your faith on trial, don’t let it fail.
Rejoice because this situation is another means of proving your love to God.
No matter how tough it may look it shall work out for your good at last.

Lu 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

It’s time to press on
The Kingdom of God is being preached and every man presses into it.
The word of faith is being preached and every man presses into it.
If it is not costing you it will not deliver its value to you.
It is time to press;

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

The Lord is looking to show Himself strong on the behalf of those whose heart is perfect towards Him.

Ex 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Prov. 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set. KJV

This is the standard; it is the ancient landmark
When you ignore the set landmarks you start losing your marks
It is those who guard the landmarks that make mark here on earth.
Inside those ancient landmarks lies your relevance.
When you disregard your roots you soon go out of existence.
We need to be constantly reminded of our scriptural roots in season and out of season.
Remember God Himself said to us the beginning of this year
“until you turn it will not be your turn”.

But when you turn God will make it your turn

Job said Job 13:15 – 16,
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. {maintain: 16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.

Job is saying I am not a hypocrite;
I am not serving Him for bread
I am serving Him because I love Him.
No matter what is happening “I will maintain my ways before Him”.
May this be your experience in the name of Jesus!
What is it that is holding you down from expressing your love or service to Him?

Rom. 8:35 – 39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than
conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.

Remember His yard stick

Matt. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Let us stop dying for what he will give or do for us:
Let us start living for His kingdom.
Let us stop dying for bread and comfort:
Let us start living for His kingdom.

God does not forget

Heb.6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: 12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the
promises.
