Kingdom citizens walk in love and live by faith.

Kingdom Citizens

The Kingdom expresses itself in this world through us its citizens.
We being impacted by His Spirit, expresses the nature and
character of the kingdom in all spheres of life manifesting the Kingdom to the fullest extent possible.

Kingdom citizens walk in love and live by faith.

How is your life?
How much of the nature and character of the Kingdom is expressed by your life in this world? The kingdom life is not just about going to heaven. It is rather more of living the life of heaven here in earth.

Mandate of citizens of the Kingdom of heaven.

Mathew 28:19 – 20
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded
you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

It is transforming the nations our communities to reflecting the virtues of the kingdom of God
This is more than just simply making them accepting Jesus.

Remember Re 11:15
… The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our
Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Discipleship
Being a disciple is not a mere intellectual pursuit of just knowing quoting or preaching the bible as many of us think.
It is in walking in the steps of the Lord Jesus Himself impacting our world by His Spirit with His good works.

Luke 6:46 Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tellyou?” (ESV).

One of the most important elements of discipleship is reproduction.

A disciple creates more disciples. Leading others to Christ is only discipleship’s point of entry.
Believers need to be discipled in order to disciple others.

A man of God says,
“The one indispensable requirement for producing godly, mature Christians is godly, mature Christians.”

Understanding the Gospel
The gospel of the kingdom is much more than going to heaven
The gospel is much more than being forgiven of sins.
The gospel is the fulfillment of the Father’s plan to bring man into fellowship with Himself wherein man might know Him as Father as well as almighty God. The gospel is now living on earth as His children endowed with power and authority to transform the kingdoms of this world for Him.

Mathew 13:33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of
heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Kingdom citizens walk in love and live by faith.

The kingdom of God is God’s absolute reign in a person’s heart.
And by this affecting his world with the kingdom virtues.

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but
righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

The kingdom is established in the earth right now.
The kingdom is not a message of how to get to heaven;
It’s a message of how to get heaven into us!
Jesus perfectly manifested as a kingdom citizen.

Remember He was the second Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:45 – 49
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was
not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward
that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the
second man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, such are
they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also
that are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the
earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

As a child of God, where is your heavenly image.

A kingdom citizen walks in love and lives by faith

The Sermon on the Mount

The lord Jesus began to show the character of a kingdom citizen.
How to live a life pleasing to God and the characteristics of
Christian discipleship.
This is showing us as kingdom citizens living wholeheartedly for
God by faith.
How to live with the Kingdom of God in mind.

Mathew 5:3 – 6
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of
heaven. 4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be
comforted.5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after
righteousness: for they shall be filled.

A kingdom citizen is as follows:

  1. Poor in spirit.
That is to say, the man is not into himself.
He is not spiritless, but he is very cognizant that it really is not
    about him.
    It’s all about Father’s will.
  2. A mourner.
Such who mourns his own weaknesses, his shortcomings, and all
those instances when he has fallen short of Father’s will for his life
    and his actions.
He mourns, even though he knows his Father is forgiving.
Shall be comforted means strengthened in Him
  3. Meek.
That is not to say he is a timid or feeble or weak person.
Meekness means a high- spirited person who is ready and willing
to submit to its master’s commands.
Moses was described as the “meekest of men.”
The kingdom citizen is submissive and trainable but remains a
leader capable of ruling and reigning with Christ Jesus.
  4. Hungry and thirsty for righteousness.
His is not just a Sunday – Sunday Christian.
The kingdom citizen sees fellowship with the Father as the most
    important thing.
The kingdom citizen desires the life
He is the “violent man” of Matthew 11:12.

Like Apostle Paul said

Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling
of God in Christ Jesus.

Pressing for the outmost in God
Pressing to live a life well pleasing to God
Pressing to live a life of righteousness
These characteristics are a description of Jesus Himself.
These ought to be the lifestyle an individual who is an inhabitant
of the kingdom of God.

Today desire the impact of His life in your life.
Today desire to live for Him here on earth.
Today desire the infilling of His Spirit

Jesus is Lord
