UNDERSTANDING YOUR PLACE IN THE KINGDOM 3

I believe God is calling us to a higher level of greater
experience with him this year.
You, as a citizen of the kingdom of God, you are not of this
world.
Hear the Lord Jesus
Joh 15:19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his
own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen
you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
When He said this, many were still confused as to Him
saying because ye are not of the world.
Then He went further in John 17:14
“I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them,
because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the
world.”
Message note: January 22, 2023
What distinguishes you from the world is His word at work in
you.
This why you see many of us who say we are saved but are
not distinguished from the world in our doings, it is because
the word is not working in us nor through us.
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of
the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
We are not of this world.
We are citizens of the kingdom of God.
Php 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence
also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
The NKJV translation says
Php 3:20 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we
also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,”
You need to know that you were sent to this earth to
dominate this earth for the kingdom of God.
Your purpose of being here on earth is to be God’s
representative from heaven.
Remember
“Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in
heaven”.
In prayer we are petitioning heaven for its influence on earth,
Heavens influence to show up in the affairs of our lives,
starting from you.
Heavens influence to show up in our neighborhood, cities,
towns, and countries.
This means there’s no unrighteousness, no abuse, no, no
corruption, no thieves, no liars, no immorality, no sexual
perversion.
God is calling on you to awake to your purpose.
At the center of this is the church, so the first process is to
build his church.
Whenever Gods house is neglected, we struggle.
Hag 1:3 – 8
3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet,
saying, 4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled
houses, and this house liewaste? 5 Now therefore thus
saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have
sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not
enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe
you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages
earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. 7 Thus saith
the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 8 Go up to the
mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will
take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.
This verse 8 here means bringing your hard-earned
resources to build his church. (I don’t mean just the building)
God wants you to rise up and build His church with Him.
Built strong and steady to accomplish His purpose on the
earth.

Let me tell you the mission of the church briefly.
The church is God’s agency on Earth.
The church exists not for heaven, but for nations on Earth.
The church is not to establish a religion, which it is known for
today, but rather a governing influence on earth.
That is the church’s purpose.
Most importantly, the church is to be the training base for
developing the saints.
To help us to rise again as kings and priests and fulfill our
purpose.
The church is God’s training program, to reeducate as
citizens of the Kingdom to take our place.
Our minds are so distorted by the fall, we need years of
retraining just to believe again.
This year my mission for God is to work on you.
It is to put in you (your heart) the light of the Kingdom so you
can light your world.
Now this church, in particular, is ordained of God to equip the
believer to lead in his or her area of gifting.
This church is to help you find and discover your gift, so you
can start to rule in this life.
In other to do this effectively your commitment to building it
first is crucial.
Let’s read the whole system.
Ephesians, 4:11 – 16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and
some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For
the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for
the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the
unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the
fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of
doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth
in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the
head, even Christ: 16 From whom the whole body fitly joined
together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every
part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in
love.
The ministry gifts given by Christ are to prepare God’s
people and develop us for the works or service of the
ministry.
We are all positioned by God to build his church.
God has positioned you in this church, you make it the
center of your life.
It’s time to arise and start building his house.
As such making progress in your adventure for greatness.
Last week we heard of David.
Ps 132:1 LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions: 2
How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty
God of Jacob; 3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of
my house, nor go up into my bed; 4 I will not give sleep to
mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, 5 Until I find out a
place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of
Jacob.
Now hear this the Kingdom is calling again.
Est. 4:13 Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther,
Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s
house, more than all the Jews. 14 For if thou altogether
holdest thy peace at this time, then shall their enlargement
and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but
thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who
knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a
time as this?
“Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom
for such a time as this”?
This is your day.
Jesus is Lord
