UNDERSTANDING YOUR PLACE IN THE KINGDOM PART 4

Understanding Your Place In The Kingdom of God.

Php 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for
the Saviour, the Lord Jesus

NKJV puts it this way.
Php 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wai
for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

You need to know that you were sent to this earth to dominate earth for the
kingdom of God.
Your purpose of being here is to be God’s representative on earth from
heaven.
Remember “Thy Kingdom Come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in
heaven”.

God is calling on you to awake to your purpose, this is why you are here,
with the church at the center of the calling.
The first process is to build his church, but when God’s house is neglected
or ignored, we struggle.

Hag 1:3 – 8
3 Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,
4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this
house liewaste?
5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye
drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm;
and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
Message Note: January 29, 2023
7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will
take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.

Going up the mountain and bringing the wood and build his church means
bringing your hard-earned resources.
God wants you to rise up and build his church with him strong and steady,
so as to accomplish his purpose on earth.
The mission of the church.
The church is to be God’s agency on Earth.
Existence of the church is not for heaven, but for the earth.
It is for the city, town and the nation.
The church exists to produce a governing influence on the earth.
The church being the training base, for training and developing the saints for
their assignments on the earth.
To teach and train us again as kings and priests.
You know, that is why the Bible says neglect not the assembling of
yourselves together.
Among other things, the church is God’s training camp to reeducate us as
citizens of the Kingdom to take our place.
Our minds have been so distorted and corrupted by the fall.
This church under God exists to put the light of God in you.
It is to put in you (your heart) the light of the Kingdom so you can light your
world for the kingdom.
It demands your commitment to building it first.
We read from Ephesians last week.

Ephesians, 4:11 – 16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son
of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of
Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is
the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that
which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the
measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of
itself in love.

The interesting thing for us to hear today is Vs. 16
by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the
measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of
itself in love.
There is what God expects you to keep supplying for the increase of His
church.
So I say to you today Arise and build His house.
God has positioned you in this church, and it means it is at the center of
your life.
Remember what we heard of David.

Ps 132:1 LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:
2 How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
3 Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my
bed;
4 I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
5 Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of
Jacob.

The key to your enlargement and deliverance is answering the cry of the
kingdom.
Arise and let us build His church.
